LED Light Therapy: What is it?

Okay, so you just saw one of your favorite celebrities or even a sponsored post on Instagram about the Omnilux home LED light therapy mask. I know what you’re thinking—does it actually work?

The second I saw that this was a medical-grade LED light therapy, I got excited. For me, as a Licensed Esthetician and Acne Specialist, this isn’t just a trend. It’s one of the first professional, medical-grade devices I invested in when I went solo. LED light therapy is hands down one of my favorite ways to tackle stubborn PIE (post-inflammatory erythema) and PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation), smooth out fine lines & wrinkles, reduce inflammation, kill acne-causing bacteria, & so much more.

I’m so thrilled to share that I have a super limited number of FDA-approved Omnilux LED devices available for purchase at Skin by Cynthia. You can choose from the Omnilux Contour (for skin rejuvenation), Omnilux Neck & Décolleté, and the Omnilux Clear (for acne).

What is it? How does it work?

LED (Light Emitting Diode) devices use wavelengths of light (red & blue) which work on a cellular level to treat several skin conditions & concerns like acne, rosacea, pigmentation, & anti-aging, just to name a few.

Omnilux Home LED Light Therapy Contour & Clear Use:

Omnilux LED Contour: Use three to five, 10-minute treatments per week for 4-6 weeks followed by maintenance as desired.

Omnilux LED Acne: Four 10-minute treatments per week for 6 weeks. Once the initial series is complete, use the device at the earliest signs of a breakout.

If you’d like to try LED light therapy, our Advanced Signature Facial treatment now includes this modality. Experience it in the treatment room first!
