Fall Into Peel Season

PCA SKIN Sensi Peel, Photographer: Melissa Ziegler

Ahhhhhh, it’s my favorite time of the year! Fall is known as peel season, although here at Skin by Cynthia we treat with peels that are safe to use all year round. Most of my clients prefer to wait for the fall and winter months because they know they won’t be traveling, their skin won’t be exposed to the sun, and they can focus more on the post-treatment care.

My love for professional peels began as soon as I enrolled into PCA SKIN’s Peel Certification Seminar. It was here where I learned about the different peels, peel alternatives, retinol treatments, and all the modalities they could be combined with. The possibilities are endless! I began to learn, explore, and personally experience their self-neutralizing NoPeel Peel, Sensi Peel, and Ultra Peel which are known to be quite universal and a blend of exfoliating acids. Shout out to my husband, friends, and family who were brave enough to be my models 2 years ago - you’ll be happy to know, they only received desired results!

I quickly adapted PCA SKIN’s “progressive, not aggressive” approach and have had remarkable success treating all Fitzpatricks, skin types and concerns with peels. This is why I will never do a peel on a first-time client. We must make sure your skin barrier is healthy, hydrated, and infused with all the strengthening ingredients pre-treatment.

One of my requirements before I even consider you for a professional peel: you must have a personalized pharmaceutical-grade skincare routine you follow daily. We need a routine full of antioxidants, peptides, exfoliants, including retinol. I require a minimum of three facial treatments with me to ensure your skin is ready for this advanced treatment.

The goal is to correct your skin concerns, not make them worse. By following my guidelines, we will minimize inflammation, avoid triggering irritation, and quickly see results. Some of the results you’ll see from professional peels: even skin tone, clear acne, improvement in the appearance of aging skin, and a brighter skin complexion.

All peels, peel alternatives, and advanced retinol treatments offered at Skin by Cynthia are only available through licensed and certified professionals.

As your Licensed Esthetician I’ve committed to continuing my education on all treatments, products, and modalities offered at SBC - because knowledge is what makes you a skilled and reliable professional. I’m excited you’re here! Now let’s Fall into Peel Season.

This is more than just skincare…

xx,
